Kiwi inventor Sir Ray Avery has been in the news recently after announcing his decision to move to Australia, which he says is a country that encourages his kind of personality more than New Zealand. We went to meet him for Shine TV’s Nzone Focus in 2010, long before the controversy and found he was a remarkable man with an amazing background.
