This was a program we made for Shine TV’s Nzone Focus about an Auckland based trust giving young people who have made bad choices while driving the chance to change. Thanks to the EDUK8 Trust, set up by John and Helen Finch, they are being given the opportunity of seeing first hand, some of the results that can come from those decisions. Visiting a spinal unit; being cut out of a badly damaged car; and hearing from the parents of teenagers who’ve died in car crashes, are just some of the ways that are helping young people adopt a much more disciplined approach to their driving habits. For us as a crew it provided some unique filing opportunities.
